Acoufelt Board of Directors welcomes Alistair Dent as Chairman

It is with great pleasure that Acoufelt welcomes Alistair Dent as Chairman of the Global Board of Directors. Alistair accepted the role in February this year, codifying the advisory role he has held within the leadership team over the past 4 years. Alistair also played a key global role at the recent AFGC19, an internal conference hosted in Australia. This conference saw the establishment of the company’s key strategic pillars for 2019.

Global Managing Director and Co-Founder Ben Grace explains that he is ‘thrilled to have Alistair accept this important governance position.  It was a natural fit and the past few years really gave us the opportunity to find and establish this synergy. We are all looking forward to working together as a team with his talent and leadership to shape the company over the coming 10 years’.

Holding an advanced Diploma of Accounting and Certificate IV in Financial Services, Alistair has over 15 year’s experience in the finance sector, with specialist expertise in strategic planning, corporate structuring governance and M&A transactions. As head of Quantum Advisory, he works closely with both local and international clients to deliver growth strategies and drive business value.

Acoufelt’s proposal to Alistair has come at a time of expansive sales growth in Australia, the USA, and New Zealand, with forecasted growth across the UK and Europe following the strengthening of its global distribution networks.

‘We are an agile, collaborative, creative and culture driven company focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for our customers through thought leadership. With ambitious plans for global expansion, Alistair will play a key role especially within the realm of corporate governance.’

Outside of his professional career, Alistair is also actively involved in a number of not-for-profit organisations, currently filling the role of Global Chief Financial Officer for the charity Rapid Relief Team (RRT), as well as holding a position on the Australian RRT board of directors.
