Our FilaSorb™ felt is made from 100% polyester fibres, a minimum 60% of which is comprised of recycled PET. FilaSorb™ felt is the primary material in our wall and ceiling products, including our acoustic wall panels, acoustic ceiling panels, acoustic screens, acoustic tiles, acoustic baffles and acoustic ceiling clouds.

Our QuietBack™ acoustic carpet tiles are comprised of a yarn face pile made from 100% solution dyed nylon with an acoustic backing made from a minimum of 80% recycled PET fibres.

Our BarrierBack™ carpet tiles are comprised of a yarn face pile made from 100% solution dyed nylon, comprised predominantly of recycled and regenerated ECONYL yarn.

Acoufelt offers a 20-year wear warranty across all of its acoustic products. This warranty guarantees that products will conform to specifications, and maintain their physical characteristics and acoustic properties throughout the 20-year period. In addition to this, all Acoufelt carpet tiles are covered by a 20-year guarantee on castor chair proof and colorfastness, and a lifetime antistatic guarantee. Acoufelt FilaSorb™ products are also covered by an additional 20-year colorfastness guarantee.

For our Australian customers, every Acoufelt product is designated a ‘QuickShip’ category indicating approximate lead times. Look out for this across our website and on each product specification sheet. Categories and associated lead times are as follows:

QuickShip Rapid

Our QuickShip rapid offering signifies our commitment to stocking products with minimal lead times. If a product is displayed with a QuickShip rapid symbol, this means the product is constantly being produced to replenish stock levels. QuickShip rapid products can be despatched within 24 hours.

QuickShip Standard

Our expert manufacturing team converts acoustic material into creative, design-led solutions using the latest cutting, bevelling and printing software and machinery. Our standard made to order products have an approx. 2-3-week lead time from payment and order confirmation.

QuickShip Custom

If a product is labelled custom, this means you can play with size, colour, cutting, bevelling, printing and more. We’ll work with you on project drawings, renderings and sampling to ensure the finished product meets your design vision. Custom products have an approx. 6-8 week lead time from payment and order confirmation.

We test the acoustic performance of our products with a full room reverberation test in a laboratory following ASTM C423 or AS ISO 354 standards. The results are documented in NRC values (Noise Reduction Coefficient) and have been added to our specification sheets across each of our floor, wall and ceiling products.

Yes you can. We offer consultations to our customers face to face, over the phone, or over a video call – depending on your location and needs. Our sales team are trained with extensive product knowledge, and a practical understanding of how to provide soundscaping solutions catered to your space. Due to the breathable nature of our acoustic material, our products can be installed in conditions with high humidity, without affecting standard performance. However, to ensure maximum adhesion is maintained, we recommend you speak with your installer to discuss the most appropriate installation method for your environment.

Yes, Acoufelt offers installation kits for its acoustic screens, acoustic baffles and acoustic ceiling clouds, which are listed on our price list. Installation kits must be ordered separately and may have lead times.

  3. Via our website. Click the “order a sample” button on any of our product pages, select your desired colours, fill in your address and contact details, and we’ll deliver these straight to your door.

Samples will be dispatched same day within Australia via a courier, but may take up to 4 working days to arrive under regular circumstances.

Yes. Please supply the drawings, quantities and dimensions you require for your project, and our Design and Production Team will work with you to create a bespoke solution. Contact us with your custom product enquiries via customercare.au@acoufelt.com.

Yes, yes and yes. We can print any supplied image onto our acoustic panels, so long as the image has a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. Our acoustic panels can also be printed in any variety of colours, as well as cut and bevelled to any shape or measurement required. Please contact us on customercare.au@acoufelt.com with your desired measurements, prints and/or CAD files.

Yes you can. Please contact our Customer Care Team on customercare.au@acoufelt.com with your custom idea, and we will work closely with you on developing your bespoke design.
