Fracture – Acoustic Tiles

Fracture tiles are a modular acoustic tile made from FilaSorbTM 12 material, designed for installation flexibility and pattern versatility.

Linear and circular designs are carved with a bevelled groove into square and rectangular tiles. When installed together, tiles can be grouped to create a number of spectacular full-scale patterns of depth, shadow and texture. Designed for flexibility, users can play with direction, orientation and color for endless design possibilities.

DESIGNS

BARCODE

The familiar parallel lines of a barcode may seem simplistic, but each combination of lines are entirely unique. Much like a barcode, this pair of tiles can be combined to create a number of intricate patterns. Alternatively, these two tiles can be installed independently to create more uniform patterns of subtle texture.

LEADLIGHT

The transecting linework found in this rectangular tile creates a series of different rhombus shapes when installed together. By incorporating tiles of different colors, designers can create grand patterns evocative of decorative leadlight windows.

SWELL

A pair of undulating lines mirror one another to create an organic form in this square tile, reminiscent of a building wave or an undulating hillside.

DECO

Influenced by the patterns found in 1920’s Art Deco architecture and fashion, two half circles just touch to create a familiar geometric motif. Tiles can be stacked side by side to form a string of circles, or installed with a half turn to create patterns incorporating oval, scale and ogee shapes.
