Acoufelt has expanded its capacity to seamlessly deliver revolutionary acoustic solutions to its customers from around the globe with the appointment of a key distributor for South America. Ing. “We are delighted to be working with IPC in Montevideo as we have a number of opportunities within the South American market where this network can provide real assistance”, says Ben Grace, Global Managing Director of Acoufelt. His sentiments are echoed by the Acoufelt Regional Sales Partner Manager for South America, Anthony Wallis. “IPC will provide us with much more than just sales representation. They bring two generations of acoustic experience to the table, so working with them will continue to inform our thought leadership as we resolve new problems together”.
Acoufelt is all about Making Quiet™ in shared spaces for better working, learning and living, with unparalleled service making working together easy. The Acoufelt Acoustic FWC™ Philosophy looks at all six surfaces in a room with exceptional products for each surface. These products are the nexus point for aesthetic and acoustic design. Acoufelt’s holistic approach to sustainability – across the manufacturing facility and supply chain – and commitment to thought leadership, makes the company a disruptive force for better solutions in designing shared spaces.
IPC was established by Pablo Cibulis in 1992 to source and install thermal and acoustic installation in major industrial projects, the scope of which quickly expanded to include naval projects. In 2001, the company expanded to its current site, now frequenting projects across the civil construction, industrial, naval, residential and specialist acoustic concert and entertainment hall sectors. Pablo’s daughter, Nathalie Cibulis, joined the business over 6 years ago, having completed studies as an industrial engineer at the University of Montevideo, as well as a Masters qualification in acoustics at La Salle BCN in Barcelona, Spain. Together, they represent innovative thinking and experience in acoustics – a knowledge and expertise that is unparalleled in Uruguay.
“Nathalie regularly speaks at local architectural events, and she and her father are recognised as the authority on acoustics in Uruguay”, says Anthony Wallis. “I have no doubt that they will make a very valuable contribution to Acoufelt’s corporate knowledge-base and thought leadership, as well as work with the team to deliver on some amazing projects. We are simply delighted to be working with this excellent team in Uruguay.”
