However, to ensure maximum adhesion is maintained, we recommend you speak with your installer to discuss the most appropriate installation method for your environment.

FilaSorb™ has absorbent and breathable properties. Any moisture that comes in contact with the material will disperse and evaporate quickly. A dry panel will not promote the growth of microbes such as bacteria, mold, and mildew.
Research indicates viruses become inactive more quickly on porous and absorbent surfaces – FilaSorb™ is both. A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine¹ on the detectability of the virus across a range of common surfaces indicates porous and fibrous materials were much less likely to hold viable amounts of the virus, traces of which were detected on the test material for only 24 hours. In comparison, the same test showed that the virus was able to stay active on hard and shiny surfaces for up to 72 hours.
No. Anti-microbial liquids have not been proven to be safe for workplaces, as they may contain harmful VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds). We continue to research and evaluate safe and environmentally friendly options.
FilaSorb™ products can be cleaned using a mild soap and warm water solution, using a gentle blotting technique. When cleaning panels, apply minimal pressure and avoid concentrated rubbing. Disinfectant spray, steam extraction, and UV light are also acceptable cleaning methods.
