This year, we welcomed 44 talented professionals, strengthening our team and expanding our capabilities. From creative product designers shaping our product offerings to sales experts building strong relationships, each new team member has played a vital role in driving our success. With their contributions, we are better equipped than ever to deliver exceptional solutions and elevate the standards of acoustic design.

2024 was a year of accolades! Four of our standout products, SoftenUp Ceiling Frames, Crest Ceiling Clouds, Pendant Ceiling Clouds, and Waffle Ceiling Grids, were nominated for the prestigious Interior Design Best of Year Awards, with Pendant selected as a 2024 Best of Year Honoree. Additionally, Fracture Two-Tone was awarded a special mention from Architizer A+ Awards. These achievements underscore our commitment to innovation and aesthetic excellence in the acoustic space.
In 2024, sustainability remained at the heart of everything we do. Products in our Premier and WoodGrain Collections, made from our FilaSorb™ felt, incorporate a minimum of 60% recycled PET material. And every square foot of our 12mm FilaSorb™ felt panels contains regenerated fibers made from over ten 20 oz recycled bottles. So almost 19.8 million recycled 20 oz plastic bottles were transformed into our acoustic panels, reducing waste while contributing to beautiful, functional designs.
Additionally, Acoufelt strengthened its commitment to sustainability by achieving key certifications and joining impactful organizations. We proudly became a member of Mindful Materials, an organization dedicated to providing transparent information about the environmental and health impacts of building materials.
A total of 24 of our products across the Premier and WoodGrain Collections earned Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), offering comprehensive summaries of their environmental impacts based on internationally recognized Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) standards. These certifications enable our products to contribute to credits for green building certifications such as LEED® and WELL.
In addition, Acoufelt became a proud member of the Health Product Declaration (HPD) Collaborative, which ensures transparency in building product content and potential health impacts. Customers can now access our products on the HPD Repository, further simplifying sustainable decision-making.
Through these achievements, we continue to empower designers and architects to create spaces that are not only acoustically optimized but environmentally conscious.
This year, we unveiled a new mega navigation on our website, making it simpler than ever to find products and explore our collections. This enhanced functionality was designed with our customers in mind, creating a smoother, more intuitive browsing experience.
We’re proud to share that our Customer Care team has shaved off an impressive 21 minutes on email response time from the beginning of 2024, reflecting our dedication to delivering prompt, friendly, and effective service in under 30 minutes. Last month, the team had an average response time of 00:27:07. Our focus on creating positive customer experiences remains a cornerstone of our success.
In 2024, we made it easier than ever for designers to explore and specify our products with the launch of two new color sample boxes. The first option includes samples from our Premier, Essentials, and Naturals Collections, while the second features our WoodGrain Collection. Both curated kits allow designers to experience the colors, textures, and finishes firsthand and add to their material libraries. So, whether you’re comparing shades or planning a complete design concept, these sample boxes offer a convenient and tactile way to bring your creative visions to life.
At Acoufelt, we don’t just innovate; we also prioritize well-being and community. Our first-ever step challenge inspired camaraderie across teams, with participants collectively taking an incredible 7.3 million steps in one month, the equivalent of walking one-third of the way around the world! This shared achievement fostered connection, encouraged healthy habits, and highlighted the power of teamwork.
